Summer Wedding at The Belongil

The olive tree branch symbolising the hope for peace in  Israel, and the drought resilient wattle tree branch, representing the spirit of the Australian people, were the basis for the logo and design theme of last weekend’s stunning Byron Bay wedding at The Belongil. Incorporating both of these foliages amongst native table arrangements and hanging installations made for a very pretty & symbolic setting, as family & friends joined from both sides of the world to witness and celebrate this gorgeous union. The wedding day agenda included Pre ceremony refreshments [picnic-style] in the Old Jetty Park,  followed by a late afternoon declaration of love & vows against the backdrop of Belongil Beach, culminating in a beautiful sit down dinner for all at The Belongil. Random facts, funny anecdotes, and a few challenges (including a surprise Vegemite sandwich!) personalised the day, and were perfect touches. We were so thrilled to see it all unfold and be as beautiful as we had imagined!
